High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven and Tomb Kings are the only races which can play on the Vortex map. Norsca are also coming and should be here within a couple of weeks (they are the only faction from Warhammer 1 that is not currently in Warhammer 2 - this is due to the code for them being different when it was originally made and it was found to be non-compatible with CA's porting tool so they've had to take time to remake Norsca over the last few months - this also includes the Regiments of Renown free DLC that game with warhamer 1 which you can get when you linke a Total War Acces account to your Steam account).Ĭhaos do appear on the Vortex map (the campaign for Warhammer2) but only as an enemy, you cannot play as them. Similarly in skirmish and multiplayer you can play as any race you own. Any races you don't own the DLC for will still appear on Mortal Realms, but you won't be able to play as them. Warshrines attract the attention of the Chaos Gods, along with the mightiest of their mortal servants, for power attracts power. They can all be used in the Mortal Realms Grand Campaign map (enbled when you own both games). All of the factions from TW Warhammer 1 can be enabled in Warhammer 2 if you own both games on the same steam account (and own the relevant DLC for DLC races from Warhammer 1).
